I was very happy with the rooms and the ability to hook up to the intranet so i could get my work emails done. But what really made me want to write up a review was when i checked in, i asked if i could possibly get something for breakfast. I was hoping to get a granola bar some juice or fruit. The manger left a note. Turns out they had the whole spread of a normal breakfast for me. That is really going above and beyond. This will be my go to place to stay when working in Illinois now.

Very nice hotel in nice area of town. I’m usually staying at a Hilton but I switched it up this time and was very happy. Clean hotel. Nice, helpful staff. Good and plentiful breakfast. Comfy beds but pillows weren’t the best. I’ll be back if in the area again.

Tried applying here and the manager proceeds to tell me that she doesn’t like me because I put down how I had poor management at my old job and another one where I had a manager and a coworker be racist to me just because of my skin tone. Not even knowing me or my situation she tells me I can’t get a job without even letting me explain myself or without even knowing me and the past things people go through at a job. You tell the truth and that’s even too much…

So I had reserved a room & paid for it on my credit card for a co worker. When she arrived a day late the lady at the front desk told her a no show & no call gave her room away. How do you give someone's room away when it's paid for. Now she has to find a different motel to stay at & repay for a room. I look at my credit card & Country in & Suites have not refunded my money & have not cancelled my co workers reservation like they said they did. They also said you should never book through a third party. The desk lady has no right to be rude or ignorant to a customer that had a reservation & paid for the room already. I have stayed over night here before, but never again. Maybe you should train your front desk help a little better.
